What do you think of Polygamy?

I've been watching the show Sister Wives out of curiousity as to what exactly that meant. I've discovered it has to do a man who takes on multiple wives (at the same time) in order to "mate" and such, aka Polygamy. No wonder there are 12 kids in the mix. What do you think of this?
