Men's Health - Genital Question?

I have very small pebble like entity on my shaft on the inside of my body, the part of the that is inside of the abdomen. The area was causing me pain so I put pressure at the most accurate point that it was and that was when I found it. Not sure what it is and doesn't cause me pain all of the time but on occasion. I really don't want to go to the doctor because I'm afraid that he/she wont be able to locate it as well as I can and say that it's nothing. What could this possibly be and should I risk it and try for the doctor?
