I have gotten this pain in my left side of my chest by my shoulder?

(cont of question) it oly started after i choked on a bit of ginger ale ( might be coincidence, ok probobly a coincidence) but it hurts more all the time. especialy when i drink soda (i dont know why) i think i should prob go to the doctors but does anyone else know what it is?
