How hard is it to tile your entire pool?

We have an average size pool that needs some sprucing up. How hard would it be to tile the entire pool ourselves? My Hubby has recently become more handy. He did an outstanding job on tiling the kitchen back-splash and on tiling the fireplace. Do you think he could tackle this pool project... or should we just paint it? Please tell me he could :(
